Weeksville is an unincorporated community in Pasquotank County, North Carolina, United States. It lies roughly midway on NC 344, at an elevation of 3 feet (0.91 m). The community is home to Weeksville Elementary School, a Methodist church, gas station, volunteer fire department, Lions Club chapter and county recycling center. Of historical significance are the facilities of the dirigible manufacturer TCom, located on the former grounds of Naval Air Station Weeksville.

CSS Sea Bird

CSS Sea Bird was a sidewheel steamer in the Confederate States Navy. Sea Bird was built at Keyport, New Jersey in 1854, was purchased by North Carolina at Norfolk, Virginia in 1861 and fitted for service with the Confederate States Navy. She was assigned to duty along the Virginia and North Carolina coasts with Lieutenant Patrick McCarrick, CSN, in command. Sea Bird served as the flagship of Confederate Flag Officer William F.
