Mandaree, North Dakota

Mandaree is a census-designated place (CDP) in McKenzie County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 596 at the 2010 census. Mandaree is located on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation. It was founded in 1954 as a home for those displaced by the rising backwaters of the Garrison Dam.

KMHA

KMHA (91.3 FM, "Alternative 91") is a radio station licensed to serve Four Bears, North Dakota. This station is owned by Fort Berthold Communications Enterprises. It airs a Variety format including programming from Native Public Media. The station was assigned the KMHA call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on May 10, 1982.

Lost Bridge

The Lost Bridge was a bridge that was built over the Little Missouri River in 1930, 22 miles north of Killdeer, North Dakota on North Dakota Highway 22. A road to the bridge was finally built 20 years later, hence the name. The Lost Bridge was dismantled in 1994. A plaque and a piece of the old bridge have been installed on Route 22 near the new bridge as a memorial.
