KEOR

KEOR is a radio station licensed to serve Catoosa, Oklahoma. The station is owned by Edward J. and Leticia Vega, through licensee La Zeta 95.7 Inc. It is currently 'dark'. The station retains the KEOR call sign as authorized by the Federal Communications Commission. The station was licensed originally to Atoka, Oklahoma, and operated for many years on the frequency 1100 kHz, before changing its city of license to Catoosa, OK, and moving, in 2008, to 1120 kHz.

KMUS

KMUS is a Spanish-language radio station which serves the Tulsa, Oklahoma market. KMUS broadcasts on 1380 kHz under ownership of Radio Las Americas LLC. Although the station can heard through much of the Tulsa area during the daytime hours, its nighttime signal is limited to just 250 watts, offering much weaker reception.

Battle of Chusto-Talasah

The Battle of Chusto-Talasah (also known as Bird Creek, Caving Banks, and High Shoal) was fought December 9, 1861, in what is now Tulsa County, Oklahoma during the American Civil War. It was the second of three battles in the Trail of Blood on Ice campaign for the control of Indian Territory during the American Civil War.
