MidAmerica Industrial Park

MidAmerica Industrial Park is Oklahoma's largest industrial park. The park is located in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma. Over 70 firms are located within the industrial park including operations of seven Fortune 500 companies. The park was founded in 1960, when the Federal government sold most of the former Oklahoma Ordnance Works to a public trust, the Oklahoma Ordnance Works Authority. It covers 9,000 acres (36 km²).

Mayes County, Oklahoma

Mayes County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Named for Samuel Houston Mayes, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation from 1895 to 1899, it was originally created at the Sequoyah Convention in August 1905. According to the 2010 census the population was 41,259, a 7.5 percent increase from 2000, when the population was 38,369. Its county seat is Pryor Creek, Oklahoma.

The MidAmerica Industrial Park Airport http://www. maip. com/transportation. php is located in the MidAmerica Industrial Park, four nautical miles (7.4 km) south of Pryor, Oklahoma, United States. The public-use airport has a 5,000-foot runway capable of handling most business jets, a PAPI system and 24-hour credit fueling system with both jet fuel and avgas.
