Sunset Transit Center

The Sunset Transit Center is a TriMet bus transit center and light rail station on the MAX Blue and Red lines in Washington County, Oregon. It is the 5th stop westbound on the Westside MAX. This is the first stop after the Roberston Tunnel under Portland's West Hills. Named for the adjacent Sunset Highway, the transit center also has a pedestrian bridge over that freeway, to connect to the Cedar Hills Shopping Center. Several bus routes serve the center.

Alpenrose Dairy

Alpenrose Dairy is a dairy company located in the Hayhurst neighborhood of southwest Portland, Oregon, since 1916. It has been in the Cadonau family for several generations and was named after the alpine rose by the Swiss-born wife and early co-owner of the dairy. The 52 acres grounds of the dairy include: Circuit d’Alpenrose, a velodrome, one of only 25 such tracks in the United States. The track was built to host the 1967 National Championships.

Willamette Stone

The Willamette Stone was a small stone obelisk originally located in the western hills of Portland, Oregon in the United States. It marked the intersection and origin of the Willamette meridian and Willamette baseline, which defined the grid system of sections and townships from which all real property in the states of Oregon and Washington has been measured following the Donation Land Claim Act of 1850.
