H. P. Hunnicutt Field

H.P. Hunnicutt Field is a stadium in Princeton, West Virginia. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Princeton Rays minor league baseball team, as well as Princeton's Middle and High school teams. Built in 1988, it was developed by the H.P. and Anne S. Hunnicutt Foundation, and it holds 3,000 people.

Princeton, West Virginia

Princeton is a city in Mercer County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 6,432 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Bluefield, WV-VA micropolitan area which has a population of 107,342. It is the county seat of Mercer County. The town hosts the Princeton Rays baseball club of the Appalachian League.

Battle of Princeton Court House

The Battle of Princeton Court House was fought May 15–17, 1862, in Mercer County, Virginia in conjunction with Stonewall Jackson's Valley Campaign. It was a minor victory for the Confederate States Army.
