Eau Claire Dam

Eau Claire Dam is a dam in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, United States. The concrete gravity dam was dedicated on August 12th, 1937 as the result of the largest Depression-era Works Progress Administration project in the entire state. Also known as the Eau Claire River 2WP224 Dam or the Augusta Dam (it stands about six miles north of Augusta, Wisconsin), the dam was developed on the site of the previous "Main River Dam" as a 24-foot high, 251-foot long structure impounding the Eau Claire River.
