Villa Traful
Villa Traful is a hamlet of the Argentine province of Neuquén located at the shore of the Traful Lake, at 720 meters above mean sea level. It is located inside the Nahuel Huapi National Park on the Road of the Seven lakes, 60 km from Villa La Angostura and 100 km from Bariloche, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|40|S|71|24|W||| | |name= }}. The main access is Provincial Route 65. The town was founded in 1936 by the Argentine National Park Administration (DPN).

Traful Lake
Traful Lake is a lake in the Argentine province of Neuquén with an area of 70 km². The lake is the starting point of the Traful River that empties into the Nahuel Huapi Lake. This lake is famous for its viewpoint on a 102 meters high glaciar cliff that offers a complete view of the lake and the entire valley. At the lake's shore lies the mountain town of Villa Traful, the main inhabited place in the lake area.

Cerro Bayo is a mountain of the Andes range located 9 km from the town Villa La Angostura, Neuquén Province, Argentina, within the Valdivian temperate rain forests, in an area with numerous lakes. The mountain hosts a ski area with 24 runs and 9 lifts. In 2007, the 2nd South American Ski Mountaineering Championship was carried out on the Cerro Bayo.

Los Arrayanes National Park is a national park of Argentina with an area of 17.53 square kilometres. It covers the Quetrihué Peninsula on the shore of the Nahuel Huapi Lake in the province of Neuquén, 3 km from Villa la Angostura. Even though arrayán trees (Luma apiculata) can be seen on the way to the end of the peninsula, the forest of 300 year old arrayanes covers 0.2 km² of the southern point, with individuals of over 600 years.
