Mount Canobolas
Mount Canobolas, at an altitude of 1,395 metres above sea level, is the highest mountain in the central tablelands district of New South Wales, Australia. The mountain is of volcanic origin. It is located 13 kilometres southwest of the city of Orange, and it is about 250 kilometres west of Sydney. The northern slopes of the mountain, with fertile volcanic soil, are becoming a popular cold-climate wine producing area.

Borenore Caves
Borenore Caves are located in the Borenore Karst Conservation Reserve, 17 kilometres west of Orange, New South Wales, Australia, on the Escort Way (which is on the route from Orange to Forbes). Access is self-guided and suitable for casual visitors. Entry to the reserve is free.
