Keepit Power Station
Keepit Power Station is a hydroelectric power station at Keepit Dam near Gunnedah, New South Wales, Australia. Keepit has one turbine with a generating capacity of 7.2 MW of electricity. The power station was completed in 1960, running one 6 MW turbine. In 1983 it was upgraded to 7.2 MW.

Keepit Dam
Keepit Dam is a water storage dam on the Namoi River in New South Wales, Australia. Keepit Dam retains water from the Namoi River 13 kilometres upstream of its junction with the Peel River for flood control and irrigation. It is also used for local recreation, fishing and water skiing. It is the location of one of the premier soaring (gliding) sites in Australia - the Lake Keepit Soaring Club. It is located between the towns of Gunnedah and Manilla about 400 km north of Sydney.

At the 2006 census, Manilla had a population of 2,081 people. Manilla is famous for its setting as a fishing and paragliding area. The name Manilla comes from the Gamilaraay language, and is said to mean 'winding river'. Manilla was established in the 1850s at the junction of the Namoi River and the Manilla River.

The stream (called a river) rises south–west of Barraba on the northern slopes of the Baldwins Range and drains a portion of the hill country on the western side of the New England highlands and the southern slopes of the Nandewar Range; flowing generally north and east and to the town of Barraba.
