Boro, New South Wales
Boro is an official locality, although in reality a rural area, of New South Wales, Australia in Palerang Shire, near the village of Tarago, about 45 km south of Goulburn. The name is a variation of the Aboriginal bora ring. Boro Creek is a tributary of the Shoalhaven River. The bushranger, William Westwood, known as "Jackey Jackey", operated in the area. Silver was mined in the area and there are a number of mining relics and shafts around.

Tarago is a town in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia in Goulburn Mulwaree Council. It is situated 39 kilometres south of the city of Goulburn and 69 kilometres northeast of Canberra, the capital city of Australia. It is located on the Goulburn-Braidwood road. Originally known as Sherwin's Flats, the town took the name "Tarago", possibly an Aboriginal word meaning "country", from the town presently known as Lake Bathurst, which is located 7 km north of Tarago.

Lake Bathurst is a lake 27 km south-east of Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia. The Aboriginal name for the lake was Bundong. It is a shallow lake that can vary in area from a few square kilometres to up to ten square kilometres, depending on the inflow and evaporation rates. It was named by surveyor James Meehan for Earl Bathurst, Secretary of State for the Colonies.
