Cumnock, New South Wales

Cumnock is a small town in New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the now closed cross-country railway line from Molong to Dubbo. The town is located in Cabonne Shire. At the 2006 census, Cumnock had a population of 288 people. Cumnock is named after the Scottish town in Ayrshire, the home of an early settler named Straborn. The Cumnock community pioneered a farmhouse rental program designed to attract new families to the area by making farmhouses available for rent for $1.

Larras Lee railway station

Larras Lee is a closed railway station on the closed Molong- Dubbo railway line in New South Wales, Australia. The station opened in 1925 and closed to passenger services in 1974. The station was subsequently demolished and no trace now remains of it. The railway line through Larras Lee officially closed in 1993.
