Mudgee High School

Mudgee High School is a New South Wales government high school in Douro Street Mudgee and caters for year 7 to year 12. The current headmistress (principal) of the school is Mrs Louise Manwaring. Deputy Principals are Mr Stephen Jones and Mr Wayne Eade. The school was Established 1916 and approx 1100 students attend mudgee high school.

Mid-Western Regional Council

The Mid-Western Regional Council is a local government area in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. The area under administration is located adjacent to the Castlereagh Highway that passes through the middle of the area in an approximate southeast-northwest direction. Mid-Western Regional Council was proclaimed on 26 May 2004 and incorporates the whole of the former Mudgee Shire Council and parts of the former Merriwa and Rylstone Shires.

Wyaldra Creek

Wyaldra Creek is a creek in the Gulgong district of New South Wales, Australia. Wyaldra Creek is about 20 km long. It rises in the hills near Tallawang, about 15 kilometres north of Gulgong. It flows south and then west and joins the Cudgegong River, about 8 kilometres west of Gulgong. The Wyaldra creek drainage basin is generally the most north-easterly component of the Cudgegong river watershed.

Gulgong

Gulgong is a 19th century gold rush town in the Central Tablelands and the wider Central West regions of the Australian state of New South Wales. The town is located about 300 km north west of Sydney, and about 30 km north of Mudgee along the Castlereagh Highway. At the 2011 census, Gulgong had a population of 2,018 people (according to 2011 Data). It is situated within the Mid-Western Regional Council local government area.
