Sydney Olympic Park is located 16 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Auburn Council. Homebush Bay

Homebush Bay was the former name of a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia that took in the suburbs of Sydney Olympic Park, Wentworth Point and part of the neighbouring suburb of Lidcombe. Homebush Bay is located 16 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Auburn Council. Homebush and Homebush West are separate suburbs.

Stadium Australia

The ANZ Stadium, also known as Stadium Australia, formerly known as Telstra Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct of Homebush Bay. The stadium, which in Australia is sometimes referred to simply as the "Olympic Stadium", was completed in March 1999 at a cost of A$690 million to host the 2000 Summer Olympics. Every year since the stadium was built, the New South Wales rugby league team's home games in the State of Origin series have been played there.

Olympic Park railway station

The Olympic Park railway station in Sydney serves the suburb of Sydney Olympic Park. The station is designed to support large crowds travelling to and from the stadiums and sportsgrounds located in the suburb. The station and sports facilities were built for the 2000 Summer Olympics, but are retained for post-games uses. The stadiums are about 3 km from any other rail line, which necessitated the rail branchline.
