2ARM FM is a community radio station broadcasting to Armidale, NSW having had its Permanent Community Broadcasting Licence reinstated after operating on a Temporary Community Broadcasting Licence (TCBL). The station has been broadcasting for over 31 years to Armidale, Walcha, Uralla, Guyra and all areas in between. It is volunteer based, and is a member of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA). It became an Incorporated Association in June, 2009.

The New England Girls' School (NEGS), is an independent, Anglican, day and boarding school for girls, located in Armidale, a rural city in northern New South Wales, Australia. Armidale railway station
Armidale railway station, in West Armidale, New South Wales, Australia, is located on the Main North railway line and is the current northern terminus of passenger services on that line.
