Wee Waa
Wee Waa (pronounced "Wee War") is a town located on the north-western slopes of the New England region in New South Wales, Australia. The town is within the Narrabri Shire local government area and is on the Namoi River. Wee Waa is 41 kilometres north-west of Narrabri and 571 kilometres northwest of Sydney on the Kamilaroi Highway. At the 2006 census Wee Waa had a population of 1,689 of which 15% are indigenous people.

The Liverpool Plains are an extensive agricultural area covering approximately 1.2 million hectares of the north-western slopes of New South Wales in Australia. These plains are a region of prime agricultural land bounded to the east by the Great Dividing Range, to the south by the Liverpool Range and on the west by the Warrumbungle Range. The area is drained by the Namoi River and its tributaries, the Mooki River and the Peel River.
