Robertson Nature Reserve

Robertson Nature Reserve is a rainforest reserve near Robertson, New South Wales, Australia. A remnant of the Yarrawa Brush, once 2,450 hectares in size. This tiny reserve contains 4.5 hectares of original rainforest. A 600 metre track through the forest is suitable to wheelchairs, with several signs with information on local plants and animals. The reserve is situated on the outskirts of town, at 750 metres above sea level, near the edge of the Illawarra Escarpment.

Robertson, New South Wales

Robertson is a large village in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, in Wingecarribee Shire. The town is located on the edge of an elevated plateau about 35 km from the coast. At the 2006 census, Robertson had a population of 1,206 people. Robertson is known for its high annual rainfall and fertile soil. It was previously covered by an extensive temperate rainforest, most of which has been cleared for farming though remnants such as Robertson Nature Reserve still exist today.

Johnstons Creek (New South Wales)

Johnstons Creek was a natural waterway. It marked the Eastern boundary of the land granted to George Johnston, in the 1790s, which he named Annandale. The Annandale Estate was subdivided in the latter part of the 19th Century into what is now Stanmore and Annandale.
