Campbells River

Campbells River, a perennial stream that is part of the Upper Macquarie catchment within the Murray–Darling basin, is located in the central–western region of New South Wales, Australia. The river rises on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range about 6.4 kilometres south of Black Springs.

Ben Chifley Dam

Ben Chifley Dam is a rock and earth-fill embankment dam across the Campbells River in New South Wales, Australia. It is located 17 kilometres upstream of Bathurst. The dam supplies potable water to the city of Bathurst. Water is released into the Campbells River which flows into the Macquarie River before being captured at the water treatment facility at Gorman's Hill, a suburb of Bathurst.

O'Connell, New South Wales

O’Connell is a village in New South Wales, Australia. The village, classified by the National Trust of Australia, is 23 kilometres from Oberon on the O'Connell Road. At the 2006 census, O'Connell and the surrounding area had a population of 355. The village has a long history situated on the original road between Bathurst and Sydney.
