Sydney College of the Arts

The Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) in Rozelle, Sydney, Australia is the visual arts faculty of the University of Sydney. It is housed in the Kirkbride complex, a cluster of sandstone buildings designed by James Barnet, the government architect in the late 19th century. The complex was part of the Callan Park Lunatic Asylum for the Mentally and Criminally Insane, which was built between 1878 and 1884.

Callan Park

Callan Park is a 104.5-acre heritage listed site in Lilyfield, a suburb in the Municipality of Leichhardt in the inner-west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The area was originally a private residence until it was purchased by the Colonial Government and transformed into a psychiatric hospital, known until 1914 as the Callan Park Hospital for the Insane, which remained in use until 1994 when it was relocated to new buildings on the site.

Birkenhead Point

Birkenhead Point is a point in Port Jackson, in the suburb of Drummoyne, New South Wales, Australia. The area was once largely industrial but it is now the home to Birkenhead Point Factory Outlet Centre, marina and apartment complex. Birkenhead ferry wharf provides access to the area, as well as Victoria Road which has up to twenty bus services from the city to major centres further west.
