Chichester Dam

Chichester Dam is a dam in the Hunter Region of New South Wales approximately 21.6 km north of Dungog. It was constructed between 1917 and 1926 as a supply of drinking water for the Hunter Region by damming the Chichester River. The dam contributes about 35 percent of the lower Hunter region's water supply. Its catchment is largely located within the Barrington Tops National Park, and covers 197 km, receiving water from the Chichester and Wangat Rivers.

Lostock Dam

Lostock Dam is a 38 metres high, earth and rock filled embankment dam on the Paterson River, approximately 93 km north-west of Newcastle in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. The Paterson River is a tributary of the Hunter River. The dam was constructed by the New South Wales Department of Water Resources to supply water for irrigation and was completed in 1971. Lostock Dam has a concrete lined, flip bucket spillway.
