Ardlethan is a small service town located in the Coolamon Shire in New South Wales, Australia. Ardlethan is located at the intersection of the Burley Griffin Way and Newell Highway. At the 2006 census Ardlethan had a population of 379 people. Ardlethan lays claim to be the birthplace of the Australian kelpie.

Beckom
Beckom is a village in the central part of the Riverina. It is situated about 5 kilometres north-east from Ardlethan, and situated about 90 kilometres east from Griffith. It had a population of 170 people on the 2006 Census night. The town was established with the opening of the railway line in 1908. Passenger services ceased in 1983 and the station closed in 1985 however the line remains open for goods trains. Beckom Post Office opened on 4 January 1909 and closed in 1993.

Cowabbie
Cowabbie is a rural community in the central part of the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated by road about 29 kilometres south from Ardlethan and 32 kilometres north from Matong along the Wagga Wagga road. The place name Cowabbie is derived from expression used by the local Aboriginals for cows when they were first seen in the area by these early inhabitants, and Cowabbie Station is one of the functioning properties in the area.
