Rosewood, New South Wales

Rosewood is a village community in the south east part of the Riverina. It is situated about 16 kilometres south east from Carabost and 19 kilometres north west from Tumbarumba. At the 2006 census, Rosewood had a population of 364 people. The village is administered at the local government level by the Tumbarumba Shire Council. Rosewood Post Office opened on 1 August 1885.

Tumbarumba Shire is a local government area in the eastern Riverina region, located in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, on the upper reaches of the Murray River in New South Wales, Australia. The Shire includes the town of Tumbarumba and the small towns of Rosewood, Tooma, Khancoban and Jingellic. The mayor of Tumbarumba Shire is Cr. Ian Chaffey, an independent politician.

Tumbarumba is a small town in New South Wales, Australia, about 480 kilometres southwest of the state capital, Sydney. Tumbarumba is located on the periphery of the Riverina and South West Slopes regions at the western edge of the Snowy Mountains. At the 2006 Census of Population and Housing, people lived in the town. Tumbarumba Shire is administered from offices located in Tumbarumba.

Munderoo, New South Wales

Munderoo is a rural community in the south east part of the Riverina. It is situated about 11 kilometres west from Mannus and 16 kilometres north from Ournie. At the 2006 census, Munderoo had a population of 358 people. The area probably took its name from a farming property Mundaroo which is situated near the Ournie Road and Linden Roth Drive T-intersection. The only public building in the area is the Bush Fire Brigade Shed situated on that same intersection.
