Cairns State High School (CSHS) is a public state school located near the centre of Cairns, North Queensland, Australia. It was founded in 1917 as an annex of Cairns Central State School. The school caters for grades 8 though to 12 and has the capacity for 1500 enrolled students. Founded in 1917, it is the oldest high school in Cairns. Zinc 102.7 (callsign 4CCA) is a commercial radio station in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. Its former name was 4CA-FM. It was the second FM radio licence issued in Cairns (after 103.5 FM which was also initially called 4CA-FM, later changing to HOT FM). 4CA FM used radio frequency 102.7 FM and was purchased by Prime Media Group Limited in 2005 from Macquarie Regional RadioWorks, it became 102.7 Zinc FM on 23 March 2009.

Cairns
Cairns is a regional city in the far north of Queensland, Australia, founded 1876. The city was named after William Wellington Cairns, then-current Governor of Queensland. It was formed to serve miners heading for the Hodgkinson River goldfield, but experienced a decline when an easier route was discovered from Port Douglas.
