Dimbulah, Queensland
Dimbulah is a town located in Far North Queensland, Australia, 114 kilometres from Cairns by road, on the Atherton Tableland. The town was established in 1876 to service the Tyrconnell Gold Mine, one of the richest mines on the Hodgkinson Gold Fields. The name "Dimbulah" is thought to have come from the local Indigenous Australian word for "long waterhole", referring to the Walsh River that runs nearby the town. At the 2006 census, Dimbulah had a population of 381.

Mutchilba is a small farming settlement on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland, Australia. It is located on the Mareeba-Dimbulah Road 34 kilometres west of Mareeba. It is known for its large production of mangoes. Established in 1923, the town was downgraded by the former Mareeba Shire Council in 1999 and has been officially a part of Dimbulah, Queensland since then.

Mbabaram language
Mbabaram (Barbaram) is an extinct Australian Aboriginal language of north Queensland. It was the traditional language of the Mbabaram tribe. Known speakers were Albert Bennett, Alick Chalk, Jimmy Taylor and Mick Burns. Recordings of Bennett and Chalk are held in the Audiovisual Archive of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies. R. M. W.
