The County of Bentinck is a county located on the southern boundary of the state of Queensland, Australia. Like all counties in Queensland, it is a non-functional administrative unit, that is used mainly for the purpose of registering land titles. The county was named in 1838 after William Cavendish-Bentinck, 3rd Duke of Portland, who served as Prime Minister of Great Britain twice, in 1783 and again between 1807 and 1809.

Pike Creek is a river in southern Queensland, Australia. Pike Creek is one of the Border Rivers. Pike Creek rises south-west of Warwick, Queensland, and flows south-west for about 60 kilometres. It joins the Dumaresq River (which forms the border between Queensland and New South Wales), near Texas, Queensland. The Glenlyon Dam forms a water storage on Pike Creek.

Glenlyon Dam
Glenlyon Dam, also known as Pike Creek Reservoir, is in Queensland near the border with New South Wales, roughly between Stanthorpe and Texas to the west. In 1976, the dam wall was built on Pike Creek, a tributary of the Dumaresq River, 5 km upstream from the confluence of the Mole River and Severn River branching from the Dumaresq. Glenlyon Dam provides water for irrigation of grain and fodder crops. It is managed by SunWater.
