Mount Bauple National Park

Mount Bauple is a scientific national park in Queensland, Australia, 190 km north of Brisbane. The park’s main purpose is to protect the area’s exceptional scientific values. Mount Bauple shares its name with the bauple or bopple nut, the local name for the nut from the commercial Queensland nut tree Macadamia integrifolia. Gundiah

Gundiah is a town in the Australian state of Queensland. The town is in the Fraser Coast Region local government area, 224 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane and on the North Coast railway line. At the 2006 census, Gundiah and the surrounding region had a population of 384. The area was initially known as "Gootchie". The main building in the town is the pub, the Prince Alfred Hotel. The original Prince Alfred Hotel was built in 1868 but was destroyed by fire.

Tiaro, Queensland

Tiaro is a small town on the Mary River in Queensland, Australia. The town is situated on the Bruce Highway 27 kilometres south of Maryborough and 227 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane. At the 2006 census, Tiaro had a population of 433. Timber and farming are the predominant industries in the Tiaro area, although the town's position on Queensland's main coastal highway also brings economic benefits.

Shire of Tiaro

The Shire of Tiaro was a local government area in the Wide Bay-Burnett region of Queensland, Australia, between the regional cities of Gympie and Hervey Bay about 220 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane. The shire covered an area of 2,185.3 square kilometres, and existed as a local government area from 1879 until 2008, when it was dissolved and split between two new local government areas, the Gympie Region and the Fraser Coast Region.
