Mount Schank
Mount Schank is an inactive maar volcano in the south-east of South Australia, near Mount Gambier. It was named by James Grant in 1800 after Admiral John Schank, designer of Grant's ship, the HMS Lady Nelson. Mount Schank is part of the Newer Volcanics Province, which is the youngest volcanic field in Australia. Mount Schank erupted in the Holocene, 5,000 years ago, about the same time as Mount Gambier .

Ewens Ponds
Ewens Ponds are a series of three limestone sinkholes on Eight Mile Creek 25 kilometers south of Mount Gambier and 5 kilometers east of Port Macdonnell, South Australia. The ponds are popular with scuba divers, with underwater visibility of up to 80 metres (264 feet) and a large fish population including the endangered golden pygmy perch.
