Paskeville, South Australia

Paskeville is a town on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula. It is located approximately 20 km east of Kadina on the Adelaide-to-Kadina road route. At the 2006 census, Paskeville had a population of 473. Paskeville biennially hosts the Yorke Peninsula Field Days (YPFD), a three-day field day with a major focus on agriculture, and the future, the event features extensive displays of the latest agricultural machinery and equipment, technology, information and services.

Yorke Peninsula Field Days

The Yorke Peninsula Field Days are three-day, biennial field days, held on a permanent site outside Paskeville on Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. The Field Days have a major focus on agriculture. The Field Days began in 1895 as a Field Trial of agricultural and horticultural implements. The Yorke Peninsula Field Days are the oldest in Australia and one of the biggest, exhibiting millions of dollars worth of farm machinery.

Port Wakefield, South Australia

Port Wakefield was the first government town to be established north of the capital, Adelaide, in South Australia. Port Wakefield is situated approximately 98.7 kilometres from Adelaide and lies on the Port Wakefield Road section of the A1 National Highway. Port Wakefield is situated on the River Wakefield, at the head of the Gulf St Vincent.

Wakefield River

The Wakefield River, is part of an estuary located in South Australia. It is an ephemeral river that usually flows only when there are significant rains. It rises above Mintaro, flowing southward, passing the towns of Watervale and Auburn, where it is fed by several small creeks, and then curves to flow westerly past the town of Balaklava into the head of Gulf St Vincent at Port Wakefield. The river's catchment covers 1,913 km². Three quarters of the catchment is used for agricultural purposes.

Lochiel, South Australia

Lochiel is a small town located in the Mid North of South Australia 125 km north of Adelaide at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:33|56|S|138|9|E|region:AU-SA_type:city(520)|| | |name= }}. The town lies beside on the western edge of Lake Bumbunga and at the eastern foot of the Hummocks Range. Port Wakefield Road, a section of Highway 1 running on a strip between the town and the Bumbunga salt lake.
