Tonsley railway station
Tonsley railway station is a railway station on the AdelaideMetro train network. It is the southern terminus of the Tonsley railway line, and is located in the southwestern Adelaide suburb of Mitchell Park. It is located 13.0 km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. Trains used to operate between 7am and 7pm on Monday-Friday, with no weekend service, but currently the line is closed. It is due to reopen in late 2013.

Bedford Park, South Australia
Bedford Park is a southern suburb of Adelaide in South Australia. The Hancock family established a homestead and farm at the foot of the Adelaide Hills in the mid 19th century. A family name from an earlier generation lent its name to the property of Bedford which was later changed to Bedford Park. In 1917, 400 acres of the property was purchased by the South Australian Government and a tuberculosis sanatorium was built.

Mitchell Park, South Australia
Mitchell Park is a suburb south of Adelaide. It shares common boundaries with Marion, Bedford Park, Clovelly Park, and Ascot Park. In recent years it has undergone major redevelopments through a program of urban renewal which included the renovation of many properties owned by the former South Australian Housing Trust. These projects have won many awards. The Tonsley railway line passes through the suburb, stopping at Mitchell Park railway station.
