Edinburgh, South Australia
Edinburgh is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Salisbury. It is an industrial suburb dominated by RAAF Base Edinburgh and DSTO Edinburgh. It was created in 1997 when it was split from the suburb of Salisbury when the Australian Department of Defence decided to rationalise the then "DSTO Salisbury" site and sell off about 70% of the site, and surrounding "Defence-owned" Crown land, to form the "Edinburgh Parks" industrial estate.

Penfield 3 railway station
Penfield 3 railway station was a railway station on the defunct Penfield line located in the northern Adelaide suburb of Edinburgh. It was located 25.8 km by railway from Adelaide Railway Station. It was closed between 1988 and 1990, just before the Penfield line was closed and dismantled in 1991. The station sign and most seats, the track, and some of the platform are now gone.

Womma railway station
Womma railway station is a railway station on the Gawler railway line which is located in the northern Adelaide suburbs of Elizabeth North and Elizabeth West. It is located 27.3 km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. Womma opened in the 1950s and had a small building on the platform which consisted of a shelter, with a ticket office and toilets on either side but they were demolished in the 1980s and early 1990s. Only the shelter remains.

Penfield 2 railway station
Penfield 2 railway station was a railway station on the defunct Penfield railway line located in the northern Adelaide suburb of Edinburgh. It was located 24.2km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. The station opened between 1940 and 1942 and had an island platform which was 213.4 metres long. The station closed on 4 January 1991, simultaneously with neighbouring station Penfield 1. These two stations have since been demolished.

Elizabeth railway station
Elizabeth Railway Station is a railway station on the Gawler railway line on the border of the northern Adelaide suburbs of Elizabeth and Edinburgh. It is located 25.8 km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. Elizabeth is one of the busiest stations in Adelaide. Since 27 April 2008, all passenger carrying Gawler line trains stop at the station, including peak hour express services. The station opened in 1960 and had the same facilities as Cheltenham, Broadmeadows and Womma stations.
