Pental Island, Victoria

Pental Island is a rural locality in Victoria, Australia, bordering Swan Hill, Victoria in the north. It is an island bounded by the Murray River in the north and the Little Murray River in the south; the Little Murray diverging from the Murray at Fish Point and converging at Swan Hill. Pental Island is also a parish of the County of Tatchera and the boundaries of the three entities are identical. At the 2006 census, Pental Island had a population of 380.

Lake Boga, Victoria

Lake Boga is a town in Victoria, Australia. It is situated within the Rural City of Swan Hill within the Mallee region of north-west Victoria. At the 2006 census, Lake Boga had a population of 725. The town is located 325 kilometres north west of Melbourne and 17 kilometres south east of the regional centre Swan Hill.

Little Murray River (Victoria)

Little Murray River (Victoria), an anabranch of the Murray River and part of the Murray-Darling basin, is located in the Mallee district of north western Victoria, Australia. The river rises near Fish Point, leaving the Murray River, and flows generally northwest, joined by the Loddon River, before reaching its confluence with the Murray near Swan Hill; descending 17 metres over its 46 kilometres course. Little Murray River and the Murray River enclose Pental Island.

Lake Boga railway station

Lake Boga is a closed station located in the town of Lake Boga, on the Swan Hill railway line in Victoria, Australia. The station was one of 35 closed to passenger traffic on 4 October 1981 as part of the New Deal timetable for country passengers. A siding and a number of grain silos remain at the site.
