Springthorpe Memorial

The Springthorpe Memorial is an elaborate Victorian era memorial located within Boroondara General Cemetery in Kew, Victoria, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. The memorial was built by Melbourne doctor John Springthorpe, in honour of his wife, Annie Springthorpe (née Inglis), who died in 1897 at the age of 30 while giving birth to their fourth child. Construction began in 1897, and the memorial was unveiled in 1901. The Springthorpe Memorial is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.

Deepdene railway station, Melbourne

Deepdene was a railway station on the Outer Circle located in the suburb of Balwyn, Melbourne, Australia. Located between Abercrombie Street and Whitehorse Road, it was opened on 24 March 1891, along with the line though it, and was named after the adjacent Deepdene House. Two side platforms were provided, along with a loop siding removed on initial closure but replaced on reopening. For a time the station was also open for goods.

Darebin Creek

Darebin Creek is a creek that runs through the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is the main watercourse of the Darebin Valley and a major tributary of the Yarra River. For tens of thousands of years it was used as a food and tool source sustainably by the Wurundjeri people, Indigenous Australians of the Kulin nation alliance, who spoke variations of the Woiwurrung language group.

MCD University of Divinity

The MCD University of Divinity, previously the Melbourne College of Divinity (MCD), is a university located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is an ecumenical consortium of a number of theological colleges from a number of denominations. Its offices are located in Kew, Victoria and is affiliated with the University of Melbourne. The college was constituted by a 1910 Act of the Parliament of Victoria. The act was amended in 1956, 1972 and 1990.
