Merrijig is a town in Victoria, Australia, located between Mount Buller and Mansfield. At the 2006 census, Merrijig and the surrounding area had a population of 697. The first Merrijig Post Office opened on 4 October 1866 and was replaced by Boggy Creek in 1867. Another Merrijig Post Office opened on 1 April 1866 (known as Delatite from 1872 until 1924) and closed in 1970. A second placename in Victoria named "Merrijig" exists in East Gippsland, about 10 kilometres north of Lindenow.

The Tunnel Bend diversion tunnel is located at Tunnel Bend, near Sheepyard Flat, on the Howqua River, approximately 30 km south-east of Mansfield, Victoria, Australia. The tunnel is approximately 100 metres long. It was built in 1884, during the Victorian gold rush, as part of the 4 km headrace from the Howqua River to a 63 foot waterwheel at the Howqua United gold treatment works at Sheepyard Flat.

Mansfield is a former railway station in Mansfield, Victoria, Australia. The former station building now serves tourists to the community as a visitor centre. The station is of a traditional timber design, and features many original fixtures including pressed metal interior walls, original doors and timber panelling and a full length signal bay window. Original light fittings are also in place inside the station building.

Mansfield is the centre of a large shire; it was amalgamated with the nearby town of Benalla (60 km) to form Delatite Shire but after community action became the first de-amalgamation in Victoria. Mansfield was formerly heavily dependent on farming and logging, but is now a tourist-centre.
