Arcadia railway station

Arcadia is a closed railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway in the township of Arcadia, Victoria, Australia. The station opened at the same time as the railway from Mangalore to Shepparton on 13 January 1880 and closed on 30 June 1977. The platform was on the west side of the line, with the dirt mound remaining today.

Murchison East railway station

Murchison East is a railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway that serves the town of Murchison, Victoria, Australia. The station is served by V/Line passenger trains on the Shepparton Line. The station opened as Murchison at the same time as the railway from Mangalore to Shepparton on 13 January 1880, being renamed to Murchison East in September 1890.

Murchison, Victoria

Murchison is a small riverside rural village located on the Goulburn River in Victoria, Australia. Murchison is located 167 kilometres from Melbourne and is just to the west of the Goulburn Valley Highway between Shepparton and Nagambie. The surrounding countryside contains orchards, vineyards and dairy farms and also HM Prison Dhurringile. At the 2006 census, Murchison had a population of 786.

HM Prison Dhurringile

HM Prison Dhurringile is a minimum security prison located in Dhurringile, Victoria, Australia. Situated 160 km north of Melbourne near Murchison, the 68-room mansion, completed in 1877, was originally a homestead for a large farm. The house was completed for the Winter-Irving family, who were major landowners in the area. The house was built in conjunction with another Winter-Irving mansion nearby, Noorilim.
