Narbethong, Victoria
Narbethong is a town in central Victoria, Australia. The town is located on the Maroondah Highway, 87 kilometres north east of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Narbethong and the surrounding area had a population of 280. Narbethong Post Office opened on 16 October 1883 and closed in 1993. The town was substantially damaged in the Black Friday bushfires in 1939. It was again severely impacted in the Black Saturday bushfires in 2009.

Marysville is a small town, 34 kilometres north-east of Healesville, in the Shire of Murrindindi in Victoria, Australia. Around 90% of the town's buildings were destroyed.

Watts River
The Watts River is a tributary of the Yarra River. It rises on the southern slopes of the Great Dividing Range, north east of Healesville, Victoria, Australia and joins the Yarra River near Healesville. Tributaries of the river include Donnelly and New Chum Creeks. The river became part of Melbourne's water supply system in 1891, with the construction of a diversion weir and the Maroondah Aqueduct. At this time the catchments were closed and cleared of human habitation.

Steavenson Falls
Steavenson Falls are one of the tallest in Victoria, with 5 cascades, a total descent of 122 metres, the last having a clear drop of more than 21 metres. The Steavenson Falls are definitely Marysville's main claim to tourism fame and have been since European arrival in Marysville. Residents cut a track to the falls in 1866. Since then the natural environs of the Falls and their approach have not altered dramatically.
