Sea Lake railway station

Sea Lake is a closed railway station on the Kulwin railway line located in the town of Sea Lake, Victoria, Australia. The last regular passenger service ran from Bendigo to Sea Lake on 7 May 1977 and was operated by a DERM. It retains a weatherboard building and the passenger platform. The station is a destination for grain trains operated by companies such as El Zorro, to the AWB GrainFlow terminal.

Sea Lake

Sea Lake is a town in the Mallee district of north-west Victoria, Australia and is situated on the southern shores of Lake Tyrrell. The town is located on the Calder Highway, 351 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, and 70 kilometres west of Swan Hill. Sea Lake is in the heart of Australia's "wheat belt", and is the main township for a number of wheat farms in the region. At the 2006 census, Sea Lake had a population of 634.

Ninda, Victoria

Ninda is a locality in Victoria, Australia, located approximately 56 km from Hopetoun, Victoria. Ninda Post Office opened on 2 November 1914 when the railway arrived and closed in 1958.

Tyrrell, Victoria

Tyrrell is a locality located in the Local Government Area of the Rural City of Swan Hill and the Shire of Buloke, Victoria, Australia. Tyrrell West post office opened on 29 May 1909 and was closed on the 2 November 1914. Long Plains post office opened in 1902 and was closed on the 31 July 1940.

Lake Tyrrell is a shallow, salt-crusted depression located in the Mallee district of north-west Victoria. It covers approximately 180 square kilometres is 314 kilometres northwest of Melbourne. While much of the time it is dry, the lake is occasionally fed by Tyrrell Creek, a distributary of the Avoca River. The town of Sea Lake is on its southern shore. Chislem Salt in Sea Lake extracts and processes salt from the lake.
