Strzelecki railway station

Strzelecki was the original terminus station on the Strzelecki railway line in Victoria, Australia. It closed on 22 November 1930, after a timber trestle bridge on the section of line between Triholm and Strezlecki developed a large sway every time a train passed over it. It was deemed uneconomical to rebuild it and the section was closed after being in operation for only eight years. After this closure the terminus station was Triholm.

Strzelecki Ranges

The Strzelecki Ranges, also known as the Strzelecki Hills is a low mountain range in the Gippsland region of south-eastern Australia between the Latrobe Valley to the north and Bass Strait to the south. It is named after Paweł Edmund Strzelecki, a Polish explorer, who led an expedition through this region in the 1840s. A mosaic of Wet Forest, populated by 90 metre tall Mountain Ash and Temperate rainforest originally covered the ranges.

Topiram railway station

Topiram was a railway station on the Strzelecki line in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. The station was opened on 29 June 1922, and was closed on 7 August 1941 following flooding of the Lang Lang River, which resulted in damage to one of the four trestle bridges over the river, after which the line was closed back to Yannathan station.

Mount Worth State Park

Mount Worth State Park is a state park in Victoria, Australia. It is located 15 km south of Warragul in the western Strzelecki Ranges. It offers rainforest walking trails and scenic views of Gippsland as well as across the Latrobe Valley to the Great Dividing Range.

Nilma, Victoria

Nilma is a small town in the West Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia located between Warragul and Darnum. At the 2006 census Nilma had a population of 218. The Post Office opened on 1 May 1886 as Bloomfield Railway Station, was renamed Nilma in 1909 and closed in 1979. The town in conjunction with neighbouring township Darnum has an Australian Rules football team competing in the Ellinbank & District Football League.
