Dumbleyung Lake, also widely known as Lake Dumbleyung, is a salt lake in Western Australia. The Shire of Dumbleyung is a local government area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 40 kilometres east of Wagin and about 275 kilometres southeast of Perth, the state capital. The Shire covers an area of 2,540 square kilometres, and is involved in grain and livestock production and various biodiversity industries including cereals, summer crops, oil mallees, yabbies, emus, poultry and trout. Its seat of government is the town of Dumbleyung.

ABC Great Southern
ABC Great Southern is an ABC Local Radio station based in Wagin. The station broadcasts to parts of the Great Southern and Wheatbelt regions of Western Australia. This includes the towns of Katanning and Narrogin. The station began broadcasting as 6WA in 1936. It was originally built solely as a retransmission facility, relaying 6WF from Perth to the greater southwest area of the state. At the time it was the tallest and most powerful transmitter in Australia.
