Byford, Western Australia
Byford is a suburb on the southeastern edge of Perth, Australia, originally founded as the townsite of Beenup in 1906. Beenup took its name from the railway siding there, a corruption of the Aboriginal name of nearby Beenyup Brook. In 1920, the name was changed to Byford and is believed to be descriptive. In 1977, Byford moved from the Shire of Armadale-Kelmscott to the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale.

Mundijong, Western Australia
Mundijong is an outer suburb of the Western Australian capital city of Perth. Originally named Jarrahdale Junction, it was at the junction of the Rockingham-Jarrahdale line and the government railway line from Perth to Bunbury which was built in 1893. At the 2011 census, Mundijong had a population of 1,429. A town grew up around the junction, and a timber depot which included a large planing mill was constructed.
