Cuddingwarra, Western Australia

Cuddingwarra is an abandoned town in the Mid West region of Western Australia. The town is located between Cue and Big Bell. Gold was discovered in the area in 1888 with the town being initially known as Dead Finish. The name that was chosen was the name of the nearby Cuddingwarra hill. The hill was first recorded on an application for a pastoral lease submitted by the Lacy brothers in 1878-79. The town was gazetted in 1895.

Big Bell, Western Australia

Big Bell is a ghost town in Western Australia near the town of Cue, established in 1936, and was home to the Big Bell Gold Mine. Mining ceased in 2003 and the plant was dismantled and transported to the Westonia minesite in 2007. It is a former railway branch terminus in Western Australia's Murchison Region. The first train arrived in Big Bell on 6 January 1937, however the line was not officially opened until 12 August that year.

Cue, Western Australia

Cue is a small town in the Mid West region of Western Australia, located 650 km north-east of Perth. At the 2006 census, Cue had a population of 328. It is also known as the Queen of the Murchison. Cue is administered through the Cue Shire Council, which has its chambers in the historic Gentlemans Club building. The current president is Stephen Manning. The Cue Parliament is held twice yearly in May and November.

The Shire of Cue is a local government area in the Mid West region of Western Australia, about 420 kilometres east-northeast of the port city of Geraldton and about 650 kilometres north-northeast of the state capital, Perth. The Shire covers an area of 13,623 square kilometres, and its seat of government is the town of Cue.
