Torbay, Western Australia
Torbay is a small township in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, 25 kilometres west of Albany. There is a crater on Mars named after it. The town is named after a bay on the coast that is south of the town, believed to be named by Governor James Stirling in 1831 after Torbay in Devon. The area was initially utilised for its timber and had a number of sawmills operating close by; in 1889 a railway was constructed and one of the stations was named Torbay.

Bornholm is a small township in the Great Southern region of Western Australia located between Albany and Denmark on the Lower Denmark Road. Situated along the railway between Albany and Denmark, the town formed around the railway siding. The surrounding area has been allocated into many small farms with areas mostly between 30 to 100 acres. Mixed farming predominates the area with fruits, vegetables and raising stock being commonplace. The area had been settled prior to 1912.

Torbay Inlet
Torbay Inlet is an estuarine inlet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia situated approximately 40 kilometres East of Denmark. Torbay Inlet is a wave dominated estuary that functions primarily as a result of wave energy. The estuary has been severely modified as most of the natural catchment cover has been cleared. Covering a total surface area of 3.1 square kilometres 2.1 square kilometres of this is the central basin with the remainder being composed of saltmarsh and tidal delta.

Shelter Island (Western Australia)
Shelter Island is an island located approximately 20 kilometres due west of Albany, Western Australia, the island is often mistakenly referred to as Muttonbird Island. The island is approximately 130 metres off-shore from Muttonbird Beach separated by a channel that has an average depth of 8 metres it is regarded as a suitable open-water dive site. The island consists of a mass of granite but has sufficient soil for plant growth and is well vegetated on top.

Elleker, Western Australia
Elleker is a small town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, situated about 16 kilometres west of the regional city of Albany. The town was planned by the Western Australian Land Company, who built the Great Southern Railway in 1886-1889. It was originally known as Lakeside, due to its proximity to Lake Powell, but did not develop initially. The Government purchased the railway in 1896, redesigned the town and gazetted it as Lakeside in 1899.
