Ganslernhang

The Ganslernhang (or Ganslern for short) is a ski piste in Kitzbühel in Austria, on which the slalom events of the Hahnenkamm Races take place. The slope has numerous changes of terrain and lies at an oblique angle making it one of the most challenging slalom courses in the Alpine Ski World Cup. It is located next to the final straight of the Streif downhill course, but has its own finishing arena.

Brixental

The Brixental ("Brixen Valley") is a southeastern side valley of the Tyrolean Lower Inn Valley in Austria with a length of about 30 km. Near Wörgl (513 m AMSL) the Brixental and Inn valleys meet. The Brixental had belonged to Salzburg since 1312 and first joined Tyrol in 1816 when the new European order came into being. The valley lies in the Kitzbühel Alps and its main river of the valley is the Brixentaler Ache.

The Bezirk Kitzbühel is an administrative district in Tyrol, Austria. It borders Bavaria in the north, the Kufstein and Schwaz districts in the west, and the Pinzgau region in the east and south. Area of the district is 1,163.06 km², population was 61,966 (January 1, 2012), and population density 53 persons per km². Administrative center of the district is Kitzbühel.
