Leukental

The Leukental is a valley in North Tyrol in the district of Kitzbühel in Austria. The Leukental runs north to south from the Thurn Pass to the Bavarian border, but is not just defined as the main valley but includes several smaller side valleys. The river flowing through the Leukental is known as the Jochberger Ache from its source at the Thurn Pass to Kitzbühel, then as the Kitzbühler Ache from Kitzbühel to St. Johann in Tirol and, from its confluence with the Fieberbrunner Ache near St.

Christlieger

Christlieger is the name of the only island in the Königssee. It is located near the northern end of the lake, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:47|35|08|N|12|35|17|E| | |name= }}. It is also called Johannesinsel (John's Island or St. John's), after the marble statue of John of Nepomuk that was erected on the island in 1711. The island is 61 meters long north-south and up to 26 meters wide, with an area of 1260 square meters.

Kitzbüheler Ache

The Kitzbühler Ache is a river in the Kitzbühel district, Tyrol, Austria. As Jochberger Ache it sources near Pass Thurn. Jochberg, Aurach bei Kitzbühel, Kitzbühel and Oberndorf in Tirol are situated along the river. At the southern town limits of St. Johann in Tirol first the Reither Ache flows into the Kitzbühler Ache, later also the Fieberbrunner Ache, forming the Großache, which flows as Tiroler Achen in Bavaria into the Chiemsee. It has a length of app. 66 km.
