Mondsee (lake)
Mondsee (Moonlake) is a lake in the Upper Austrian part of the Salzkammergut and neighbour to the larger Attersee. Its southwestern shore marks the border between the states of Upper Austria and Salzburg, and also between the Northern Limestone Alps in the South and the Sandstone zone of the Northern Alps. The Drachenwand (Dragonwall) at the southern shore of the lake is an impressive sight. Mondsee is one of Austria's last privately owned lakes.

SKGLB Museum
The SKGLB-museum shows relics of the former Salzkammergut-Lokalbahn that was a railway line in 760 gauge track from Salzburg to Bad Ischl with a branch to Mondsee - a town located at the lake Mondsee. The engine shed of the terminal station at Mondsee is the only preserved engine shed of this line. It has been converted to a museum about the line and its history and contains a collection of original vehicles, photographs and a model layout of the SKGLB's Mondsee branch.

Gut Aich Priory
Gut Aich Priory (Kloster Gut Aich) is a Benedictine monastery in St. Gilgen in Austria. It was founded in 1993 and was formally recognised as an independent monastery on 11 July 2004 by the Presiding Abbot of the Austrian Congregation of the Benedictine Confederation, of which it is a member. A special task of the priory is to contribute to the peaceful coexistence of people and nations in Europe, and for that reason it describes itself as a "European abbey" ("Europakloster").

Schafberg
Schafberg is a mountain in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Its height is 1783 metres. Situated within the Salzkammergut mountain range of the Northern Limestone Alps, the Schafberg rises at the shore of a lake called Wolfgangsee. During the summer, the Schafbergbahn, a rack railway opened in 1893, runs from the small town of St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut on the shores of the Wolfgangsee to the summit.
