Laram Quta (Aymara larama blue, quta lake, "blue lake", hispanicized spelling Laram Kkota) is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It lies south of Mount Chacaltaya, south east of Lake Milluni and north west of Qillwani (Khelluani). Laram Quta is situated at a height of about 4,556 metres (14,948 ft), about 0,5 km long and 0,17 km at its widest point.

Janq'u Quta (El Alto)

Janq'u Quta (Aymara janq'u white, quta lake, "white lake", hispanicized spelling Jankho Khota, Jankho Kkota, Janko Khota, Janko Kota) is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated south of Mount Wayna Potosí and north east of Lake Milluni at a height of about 4,664 metres (15,302 ft). There is a smaller lake of the same name east of it in the La Paz Municipality.

Milluni Lake

Milluni (Aymara millu light brown, reddish, fair-haired, dark chestnut, -ni suffix to indicate ownership, "the one that has got a brown colour") is a lake on the western side of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality, north of El Alto. The lake is situated at a height of 4,565 metres (14,977 ft) south of Mount Wayna Potosí, on the foot of Chacaltaya. It is about 1.83 km long and 1 km at its widest point.

Huayna Potosí

Huayna Potosí is a mountain in Bolivia, located about 25 km north of La Paz in the Cordillera Real. Huayna Potosí is the closest high mountain to La Paz, a city which is surrounded by high mountains, and itself is the highest capital city in the world. Huayna Potosí is roughly fifteen miles due north of the city, which makes this mountain the most popular climb in Bolivia. The normal ascent route is a fairly straightforward glacier climb, with some crevasses and a steep climb to the summit.

Yungas Road

The North Yungas Road (alternatively known as Grove's Road, Coroico Road, Camino de las Yungas, Road of fate or Death Road) is a 61-kilometre or 69-kilometre road leading from La Paz to Coroico, 56 kilometres northeast of La Paz in the Yungas region of Bolivia. It is legendary for its extreme danger and in 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank christened it as the "world's most dangerous road". One estimate is that 200 to 300 travellers are killed yearly along the road.
