Patilla Pata

Patilla Pata is a stratovolcano in Bolivia. The date of its last eruption is unclear, but it is unlikely to be during the Holocene as the mountain is heavily glaciated. The composition of the volcano is largely andesitic, but there are also a number of basaltic lava flows.

Sajama Lines

The Sajama Lines of western Bolivia are a network of thousands (possibly tens of thousands) of nearly perfectly straight paths etched into the ground continuously for more than 3,000 years by the indigenous people living near Nevado Sajama. They form a web-like network that blankets the Altiplano.

Waña Quta (Oruro)

Waña Quta (Aymara waña dry, quta lake, "dry lake", hispanicized spellings Huañakota, Huaña Kota, Huaña Khota, Huaña Kkota, Huayñakota, Huaña Q'ota) is a small lake in Bolivia located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province. It is situated in the Sajama National Park north west of the Sajama volcano at a height of about 4,350 metres (14,270 ft). The lake is a place to discover birds like Andean Avocet, Andean Lapwing, Cattle Egret, Horned Coot, Puna Teal, Ruddy Duck and Yellow-billed Pintail.
