Waña Quta (Oruro)

Waña Quta (Aymara waña dry, quta lake, "dry lake", hispanicized spellings Huañakota, Huaña Kota, Huaña Khota, Huaña Kkota, Huayñakota, Huaña Q'ota) is a small lake in Bolivia located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province. It is situated in the Sajama National Park north west of the Sajama volcano at a height of about 4,350 metres (14,270 ft). The lake is a place to discover birds like Andean Avocet, Andean Lapwing, Cattle Egret, Horned Coot, Puna Teal, Ruddy Duck and Yellow-billed Pintail.

Chungara–Tambo Quemado

Chungara–Tambo Quemado (Spanish: Paso Chungara–Tambo Quemado) is a mountain pass through the Cordillera Occidental of the Andes along the border between Chile and Bolivia. Nevados de Quimsachata

Nevados de Quimsachata (hispanicized) or Kimsa Chata (Aymara and Quechua kimsa three, Pukina chata mountain, "three mountains", also spelled Kimsachata, also hispanicized Quimsa Chata), is a 8 km -long volcanic complex on a north-south alignment along the border between Bolivia and Chile, overseeing Chungara Lake. It contains three peaks, all stratovolcanoes.
