Pampa de la Isla
Pampa de la Isla is a township in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The township is one of the key settlements of migrants from other parts of Bolivia. The settlement was founded on August 14, 1960, with less than thirty families. As of 2011 the township has a population of around 200,000, divided into 47 Unidades Vecinales ('Neighbourhood Units') and around 186 barrios, being one of the most populous areas of the city.

Viru Viru International Airport
Viru Viru International Airport is an aviation facility located in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The idea to build a new, modern airport in Santa Cruz was conceived in 1976, in view of the obsolence of the old airport known as El Trompillo. Soon after, construction of the airport began. Upon its inauguration, Viru Viru became the most important airport in Bolivia and its main gateway of international flights, despite Santa Cruz being only the second largest metropolitan area in Bolivia.

Avenida Monseñor Rivero
Avenida Monseñor Rivero is a street in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. It is located between the 1st and 2nd ring roads of the city, and is full of restaurants, cafes and bars catering to the wealthier sectors. At one end of the street stands the Cristo Redentor statue, which is used as an iconic image of cruceño identity. The statue by Emiliano Luján was inaugurated in 1960. It was financed by donations from cruceña women in La Paz.
