Araguaína

Araguaína is a city and a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Tocantins. Its population was 153 350 (2010) and its area is 4,000.40 km². The city is home to ITPAC, an educational institute offering medical, dentistry, and lawyer careers. There is also a campus of the Federal University of Tocantins State (UFT) in the city, in which the Veterinary College is actually located. The city is served by Araguaína Airport.
