Pleasant Valley Secondary School

Pleasant Valley Secondary is a public high school in Armstrong, British Columbia part of School District 83 North Okanagan-Shuswap. They are well known throughout British Columbia for their strong track & field program taught by Mr. Cameron as well as being one of the only schools in the Interior to have a competitive dance team. The PVSS Adrenaline Dance Team had a 5 year undefeated streak in the Open Division until April 2009 where they were defeated by only half a point.

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is a regional district in the Canadian province of British Columbia, Canada. The Canada 2011 Census population was 81,237. The land area is 7,512.58 km² (2,900.62 sq mi). The regional district's head office is in the district municipality of Coldstream, although the largest population centre is its immediate neighbour, the city of Vernon.

Spallumcheen, British Columbia

This article is about the district municipality in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. For the similarly named town in the Columbia Valley/East Kootenay, see Spillimacheen, British Columbia. Spallumcheen is a district municipality in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Located in the Okanagan region between Vernon and Enderby, the township had a population of 5,055 and land area of 255.77 square kilometres in the Canada 2011 Census.

O'Keefe, British Columbia

O'Keefe is a ghost town located in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada on CNR, just northwest of Vernon. The town was founded in 1867 by Cornelius O'Keefe. Cornelius was a cattleman who became known as "the O'Keefe of Okanagan. " He was an Irishman whose ranch was an early center of trade in the Okanagan. The town later contained a general store, Roman Catholic church, and a post office.

Motoplex Speedway

Motoplex Speedway and Event Park, formerly known as SunValley Speedway, is a paved tri-oval auto racing facility located in Spallumcheen, north of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. The facility features an 7,500-seat, .5 miles NASCAR-sanctioned tri-oval. There is also hot pits for 38 cars, 105 polished cement pit stalls, and a 10-acre campground with elevated motor home parking. In 2010 the venue began being used for other events including concerts.
